Sustainability — Bali Airport VIP Transfer’s Environmental & Community Commitments

Sustainability & Community Impact

As a company born of Bali, we hold a profound responsibility to protect the island’s unique natural environment and to support the vibrant communities that make it so special. At Bali Airport VIP Transfer, sustainability is not an afterthought; it is a core component of our business philosophy, integrated into our daily operations. We believe that luxury travel can and must be a force for good. Our commitment, as part of the Juara Holding Group, is to ensure that our growth contributes positively to the future of Bali for generations to come.

Environmental Stewardship

We are actively working to minimize our ecological footprint through a series of targeted initiatives.

  • Carbon Offset Program: We recognize that our services have a carbon footprint. To counteract this, we contribute a portion of every VIP transfer to a verified carbon offset program. Our chosen partner focuses on the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve in Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo), one of the world’s largest REDD+ projects, which protects endangered orangutan habitats and prevents deforestation.
  • Modern, Efficient Fleet: We are committed to operating a fleet of modern, low-emission vehicles. We prioritize models with the best fuel efficiency in their class and adhere to a strict maintenance schedule to ensure optimal performance. We are actively exploring the integration of hybrid and fully electric luxury vehicles as Bali’s charging infrastructure expands.
  • Eliminating Single-Use Plastics: A simple but impactful step. All complimentary bottled water provided in our vehicles is sourced from local Balinese brand and served in recyclable glass bottles, completely eliminating single-use plastic water bottles from our service.

Community Empowerment & Local Sourcing

Our success is intrinsically linked to the well-being of the local community. We are dedicated to creating a positive social and economic impact.

  • Local Employment: We are proud that over 95% of our team members, from our chauffeurs to our senior management, are Indonesian citizens, with a significant majority being native Balinese. We believe in hiring locally and providing world-class training and career development opportunities. Meet our local experts on the Our Team page.
  • Supporting Local Enterprises: We prioritize local, Balinese-owned businesses in our supply chain. Our vehicle maintenance, cleaning services, and office supplies are all sourced from local entrepreneurs, ensuring that the economic benefits of our operations remain within the community.
  • Preserving Cultural Heritage: For our premium welcome packages, we source amenities directly from local artisan communities. This includes hand-woven textiles from Tenganan village and handcrafted silver from Celuk, providing fair-trade income to traditional craftspeople and introducing our guests to the richness of Balinese culture.

Partnerships for Preservation

We extend our impact by providing financial and in-kind support to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) doing critical conservation work in Bali and across Indonesia.

  • Bali Sea Turtle Society (BSTS): We contribute annually to BSTS’s efforts to protect sea turtle nests and release hatchlings along the southern Bali coastline.
  • Friends of the National Parks Foundation (FNPF): We support their reforestation projects on Nusa Penida, helping to restore the island’s ecosystem and protect the endangered Bali Starling.

Our journey towards becoming a more sustainable and responsible company is ongoing. We are continuously seeking new ways to innovate and improve, ensuring that every guest who uses our service is also contributing to a thriving and resilient Bali.
