Environmental Stewardship

Our strategy is multi-faceted, focusing on direct emission reductions, verified offsetting, and responsible resource management. We are committed to offsetting 100% of our fleet’s carbon emissions through targeted initiatives, including a program to improve fuel efficiency by 15% by 2026, directly reducing our impact on Bali’s air quality, particularly during the peak dry season from June to September.

• Carbon Offset Program: We recognize that our services have a carbon footprint. To counteract this, we contribute a portion of every VIP transfer to a verified carbon offset program. Our chosen partner is the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve in Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo), one of the world’s largest REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) projects. Verified under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), this initiative protects over 64,000 hectares of carbon-dense tropical peat swamp forest, a critical habitat for endangered Bornean orangutans, and prevents the release of over 130 million tonnes of carbon.

• Eliminating Single-Use Plastics: A simple but impactful step, fully aligned with Bali Governor’s Regulation No. 97 of 2018. All complimentary bottled water provided in our vehicles is sourced from local Balinese brand Balian Springs and served in recyclable glass bottles, completely eliminating single-use plastic water bottles from our service. This action prevents an estimated 25,000 plastic bottles from entering the local waste stream annually.

Furthermore, we have partnered with EcoBali Recycling, a leading local waste management social enterprise, to ensure all waste from our offices and operations is segregated, collected, and processed responsibly, maximizing recycling rates and minimizing landfill contributions.

Partnerships for Preservation

• Bali Sea Turtle Society (BSTS): We contribute annually to BSTS’s vital efforts to protect Olive Ridley sea turtle nests along the heavily touristed Kuta Beach.
